Bishop David G. O'Connell
The Most Reverend David G. O’Connell is the Episcopal Vicar of the San Gabriel Pastoral Region, one of the five Pastoral Regions in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles.
He was appointed Titular Bishop of Cell Ausaille and Auxiliary Bishop in 2015. Since his ordination to the priesthood, he has served as Associate Pastor at St. Raymond in Downey, St. Maria Goretti in Long Beach and St. Hillary in Pico Rivera. He served as Pastor of St. Frances X. Cabrini, Ascension Catholic Church, St. Eugene and St. Michael Parishes.
Over the past two years , I have had the opportunity and privilege to work with the Apostolate Catholic Men’s Fellowship (CMF) of California. I am the spiritual advisor for this ministry and have personally watched them “help men renew their minds and transform their hearts and lives for Jesus Christ.” - Romans 12:2
I have seen the lives of men transformed by the Spirit of God working through the work they do. These men are faithfully working in our Lords vineyard “encouraging men to become daily followers of Christ.” - Luke 9:23
